Her extensive experience in community development, nonprofit leadership, and strategic planning has made her a trusted voice for equity and collaboration in the communities she serves.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ashley treasures her life with her partner, Walter, and their growing family. Becoming a mother to Baby Walter has deepened her passion for building a brighter, more inclusive future for all. Ashley is also a devoted dog mom to Margo, whose joyful presence brings balance and joy to her busy life.
Ashley’s dedication to her community extends through her service on several influential boards, including the City of Indianapolis Police Merit Board, Home Repairs for Good, Kennedy King Memorial Initiative, Black Women of Faith, and Keep Indianapolis Beautiful. Whether advocating for systemic change or creating opportunities for individuals to thrive, Ashley’s leadership reflects her unwavering commitment to empowering others and building resilient communities.
